Shipyard is an AI app-building platform that helps you turn ideas into working web apps through conversation. When this policy says “we,” it means the operators of the Shipyard service.

2. Information we collect

We may collect:

  • Account details such as name, email address, and authentication credentials
  • Project content you create, including prompts, uploaded references, generated app files, and publish settings
  • Usage data such as feature interactions, approximate location derived from IP, browser type, and device information
  • Lead and analytics data collected by apps you publish when those features are enabled
  • Billing-related information processed by our payment providers when you upgrade

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide, secure, and improve the Shipyard platform
  • Generate, preview, publish, and iterate on your projects
  • Authenticate accounts and prevent abuse
  • Send product, security, and service communications
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. AI processing

Prompts, references, and related project context may be sent to model providers so Shipyard can generate and edit your apps. We use that processing to deliver the product you requested. Do not submit secrets or sensitive personal data you are not comfortable processing through the service.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with infrastructure, authentication, model, analytics, and payment vendors that help us run Shipyard, and when required by law or to protect the service and its users.

6. Retention

We keep account and project data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward as needed for backups, security, disputes, and legal requirements.

7. Your choices

You can update account settings, delete projects you no longer need, and request account deletion by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete personal data.
