Terms of Service

1. The service

Shipyard lets you describe products in plain language, generate working web apps, preview changes, and publish versions when you are ready. The service may change over time as we improve generation, hosting, and collaboration features.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity that happens under your account. Provide accurate information and keep your login details secure.

3. Your content

You retain rights to the prompts, uploads, and project materials you provide. You grant Shipyard a license to host, process, and display that content as needed to operate the service, generate outputs, and publish apps you choose to make live.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Shipyard to:

• Break the law or infringe others’ rights
• Distribute malware, phishing, or abusive content
• Attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer the platform
• Upload confidential data you are not authorized to process through third-party AI systems

5. Generated output

AI-generated apps and copy may be imperfect. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before publishing, including design, content, accessibility, legal claims, and security configuration for anything you put in production.

6. Plans and billing

Free and paid plan features may differ. Paid subscriptions renew until canceled according to the plan terms shown at checkout. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law.

7. Availability

We aim to keep Shipyard reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Previews, publishing, and model providers may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or outages.

8. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shipyard disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and limits liability for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

9. Termination

You may stop using Shipyard at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are violated or if needed to protect the service or other users.
